Lakers Fan Wins $95K with Half-Court Shot, Will Use Money for Kobe’s Last Game
The Los Angeles Lakers couldn’t miss against the Phoenix Suns Sunday night. Neither could their fans. One lifelong supporter of the Purple and Gold nailed a half-court shot during a timeout, and in doing so won himself $95,000.
Lakers forward Julius Randle was apparently pumped, per Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News:
Everything going right for Lakers. Lakers fan hits halfcourt shot. Julius Randle rushes out to high five him. Fans gets a $95,000 check

According to MIke Trudell, the team’s official reporter, the fan already knows what he’ll do with part of the money:
The gentleman who won $95,000 is a lifelong Lakers fan from California. He said he’ll use some of the $ to “see Kobe’s final game.” — Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) January 4, 2016
