Beyonce covers Whitney’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ at Blue Ivy’s school gala

 

Over the weekend Beyoncé proved she might be the the fiercest mother at her daughter’s school.

Saturday night Queen Bey did a surprised performance Blue Ivy’s elementary school, dazzling the crowd in a shimmering black and gold dress before belting out a few of her singles, such as 2008’s Halo, and taking on Whitney Houston’s iconic hit, I Will Always Love You.

Bey’s performance was part of the fundraiser for Center for Early Education’s 75th Anniversary Gala in Los Angeles.

The Center for Early Education, which bills itself as a “socio-economically and culturally diverse independent school for children,” includes children from pre-school to sixth grade.
